How to See Vietnam on a Budget
Leaving from Seattle and Washington, DC, landing within 20 minutes of each other, and met at our Hanoi gates.
We went from Seoul Korean to Hanoi for two days of eating non-stop on food tours. This was my favorite part of the trip. I wouldn’t have stayed much longer in Hanoi.
Next, we went to Ha Long Bay on a boat tour.
The Ha Long Bay boat trip we booked from the La Siesta Hotel in Hanoi. Two nights is a must. Our tour group is overly organized; however, one night wouldn’t be enough time in this beautiful travel location. The shore excursions are very crowded with many Junks and Tour boats. We booked it from our hotel, and it was around $250.00 all-inclusive. Trips range from $150.00 one night to $500.00 for two nights per person. This part of the trip was worth spending as much as you can afford, and I would go again. I have to say the food disagreed with my stomach. The food didn’t like me.
