Solo Female Traveler – Adventure Holiday in Tanzania Africa

Unfortunately, I didn’t get to take a lot of photos even though I was on the Safari for five days before a Masi Bush midwife came to see me. She insisted I get home immediately. Well, immediately means something different in Africa than in the USA. She saw me at night but I waited for the second flight out at noon the next day. That is when the small bush plane left to go back to Arusha. the first plane left with a heart attack patient. You can learn about what

You can learn about what happened on the plane and how I got home. But, before I left, I want to show you my favorite photos from the trip.

Memories of a Holiday in Tanzania Africa

The most memorable photo I took was of this little boy who is a Tanzania Albino and a Bushman. Albinos are considered Ghost people in Tanzania and severely persecuted. According to the people of the region and tradition, the children are bad luck. I don’t know how a person can be bad luck. But, in his culture he is and because of these beliefs, albinos are not generally seen during the day in Africa because of their skin burns. They stay inside because they sunburn very easily. So, I felt special he came out to see us.
